I was asked to participate in a short residency, by Marilyn Lennon and Sean Taylor as part of a larger project around Tramore Vally park in Cork, Ireland

The KinShip Project is a durational public artwork supported by the Creative Climate Action Fund. Local project partners include Cork Nature Network, Cork Healthy Cities, Cork’s UNESCO Learning City, Green Spaces for Health, MTU Clean Technology Lab and UCC Environmental Research Institute.

I viewed The KinShip Project placement as a collaboration between myself, the plants and the overall sonic landscape of the park itself. By building custom hardware and software I would allow the plants to play a sonic landscape derived from sounds gathered from around the various locations within the park.
